Our Purpose
To bring the Word of God to Sri Lankan Christians and to share knowledge about the Christian faith.
Our Vision
To guide more people towards God by increasing awareness among Sri Lankan Christians and non-Christians about the true essence of Christianity, its history, traditions, and culture. Additionally, we aim to help individuals interpret Christianity correctly and provide them with the right direction in their faith journey.
About the Author
I, Shenal Wijesinghe, the founder and author of the Catholic ENCY website, strongly believe that the life we have received from the Lord and all the talents we possess should be dedicated to glorifying God and serving the well-being of others.
Through the grace of Baptism, we are called to fulfill the threefold mission of Priest, Prophet, and King in accordance with our capabilities and roles. By doing so, we continuously spread the Good News of Christ and inscribe the ever-flowing, infinite love of God into human hearts.
With 19 years of experience as a Catechist, I have taught at Dalupotha St. Anthony’s Sunday School from 2006 to 2015 and at Thudella Holy Adakkala Mother’s Sunday School from 2016 to the present. Additionally, I have successfully completed the Dharma Guru Final Examination (Catechist Certification Exam). The primary goal of this website is to merge my acquired knowledge with modern technology and share it worldwide.
As Christ commanded, we strive to spread the Word of God globally, enhance the knowledge of believers, guide them in resolving doctrinal questions, and strengthen their faith.
We recognize the necessity of exploring new ways to share religious messages in a rapidly evolving world. As part of this mission, this website is presented in Sinhala to make Catholic teachings more accessible to Sri Lankans.

දේව වචනය ශ්‍රී ලාංකේය කිතුනුවන් වෙත ගෙන යාම සහ කිතු දහමේ දැනුම බෙදා හැරීම.
අපගේ දැක්ම
කිතු දහමේ නිවැරදි හරය, ඉතිහාසය, සිරිත් විරිත් සහ සංස්කෘතිය පිළිබඳව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ කිතුනු ජනතාව සහ අන්‍යාගමික ජනතාව දැනුවත් කිරීම තුළින් වඩවඩාත් ජනතාව දෙවියන් වහන්සේ වෙතට ගෙන යාම සහ කුතු දහම නිවැරදිව අර්ථකථනය කිරීමට ඔවුනට මග පෙන්වීම.
කතෘ ගැන යමක්
Catholic ENCY වෙබ් අඩවියේ නිර්මාතෘ සහ කතෘ ෂෙනාල් විජේසිංහ වන මම සමිඳාණන්වහන්සේ තුළින් අප ලබා ඇති මෙම ජීවිතය ද අප සතු සියලු තලෙන්තු ද දේව මහිමය සහ අන්‍යයන්ගේ යහපත උදෙසා වැය කළ යුතු බව දැඩි ලෙස විශ්වාස කරමි.
ප්‍රසාද ස්නාපනය තුළින් අප ලද පූජක, එඬේරික සහ දිවැසිවර යන ත්‍රිවිධ කාර්ය අපගේ හැකියාවේ ප්‍රමාණයට සහ අපගේ ක්ෂේත්‍රයට අදාළව නිරන්තරයෙන් ක්‍රියාවට නැංවිය යුතු බවත් එමගින් කිතු සුපුවත සහ නොනවත්වා, අසීමිතව ලොව වෙත ගලා හැලෙන දේව ප්‍රේමය මිනිස් සිත්වල නැවත නැවත ලිවිය යුතු බව පිළිගනිමි.
2006 වසරේ සිට 2015 වසර දක්වා දළුපත සාන්ත අන්තෝනි දහම් පාසලේ ද 2016 වසරේ සිට මේ දක්වා තුඩැල්ල ශුද්ධ වූ අඩක්කල දේව මාතා දහම් පාසලේ ද ධර්මොපදේශකවරකු ලෙස කටයුතු කරමින් ලද වසර 19 ක පළපුරුද්ද සහ ධර්මාචාර්ය ගෞරව විභාගය (දහම් ගුරු අවසාන විභාගය) සමත් වීම තුළින් ලද දැනුම නවීන තාක්ෂනය සමඟින් මුසුකර ලොව පුරා බෙදා හැරීම මෙම වෙබ් අඩවියේ මූලික පරමාර්ථයයි.
ක්‍රිස්තුන් වහන්සේ අණ කළ ලෙසම දෙව් වදන ලොව පුරා ගෙනයමින්, විශ්වාසිකයන්ගේ දැනුම වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම ද ඔවුන්ගේ ධර්ම ගැටළුවලට පිළිතුරු සොයා ගැනීමට මග පෙන්වමින් ඔවුන්ගේ විශ්වාසයේ දිවිය වඩාත් ස්ථිර කිරීම ද අප අරමුණු කරනු ලබයි.
දියුණු වන ලොවට ගැළපෙන ලෙසින් දහම් පණිවුඩය බෙදා හැරීමට නව මං සෙවීම යුගයේ අවශ්‍යතාවයක් ලෙසින් අප පිළිගන්නා අතර, එම අවශ්‍යතාවයට සරිලන එක් පියවරක් වශයෙන් සිංහල බසින් මෙම වෙබ් අඩවිය ඔබ වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලබයි.
මෙහි පළවන ලිපි කියවීම, බෙදා හැරීම තුළින් එම කාර්යයේ සාර්ථකත්වයට උරදෙන මෙන් ඔබ සැමට ද ක්‍රිස්තුන් වහන්සේ තුළ ප්‍රේමයෙන් ඇරයුම් කරමු.
එලෙසම මෙම වෙබ් අඩවිය තුළ පල කර තිබෙන සමහර ලිපි උපුටා ගත් ඒවා වන අතර එම වටිනා ලිපි වෙනුවෙන් ඔවුන්ටද ස්තූතිය පුද කර සිටිමු.
